Viewing Visitor History

The Visitor History visitor history pane pane provides additional information about the website visitor's environment such as language, country, browser, etc. You can also see, in real-time, a list of the pages browsed by the customer on the website.

eGain OneTag must be configured on the website to view visitor history.

Visitor history is available for the following activities:

  • Chats

  • Video Chats

  • Chats that are initiated from an offer

  • Conferences

  1. Cobrowse

In the Pages Visited section, you see a list of the pages that the website visitor has navigated to before the activity was created.

The following properties are displayed in the General Details section of the Visitor History:

  • Language: Language of the browser from where the web page is accessed.

  • Country: Country from which the web page is accessed.

  • Operating system: The operating system of the machine from which the web page is accessed.

  • City: City from which the web page is accessed.

  • Browser: Browser used to access the web page.

Agents can view the following additional information by going to the Visitor History pane:

  1. Eligibility Condition Met: The list of conditions that made the visitor eligible for an offer.
  2. Eligibility Time: Time when the visitor became eligible for the offer.
  3. Page URL: The URL of the web page where the customer became eligible for the offer.
  4. Page Title: The title of the web page.
  5. Referrer URL: The URL of the web page from where the visitor navigated to the page on which she became eligible for the offer.
To view a page:

  1. In the Visitor History visitor history pane pane, go to the Page Visited section.

  2.  Click the name of the page. It opens in a new window.

  3. Click the Refresh button to refresh the page. The list is updated in real time.

To push a page to a customer:

  1. In the Visitor History visitor history pane pane, go to the Page Visited section.

  2. Click the name of the page. It opens in a new window.

  3. Click the Push Page button in the Visitor History pane toolbar.

You can also start a cobrowse session from the Visitor History pane.
